Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Playful, sassy, curious
You'd never know it by looking at her, but happy little Hominy Flour has been through it! She came to us as a sick little kitten who had lost her mama. She fought a respiratory virus and won! She was born with "pectus excavatum", also known as "sunken chest syndrome" that caused breathing problems and kept her from growing as fast as her siblings. It's a mild case and no surgery is indicated. She's still smaller than her siblings, but that only makes her cuter than she already is!
Hominy is always on the go! She absolutely LOVES to play with anything and anyone. She gets along well with her siblings, her foster's cat and large dog. She gets so excited while playing that she can be mouthy and nippy, so she may not the best fit for young kids. But she'd be great in an active home with older kids and other pets.
See more about her on Facebook! @Austin Pets Alive Foster Kittens and Cats - https://www.facebook.com/APAkitcats
Hominy does take play breaks from time to time, and when she does, she loves to lie on her person and take a nap.
Contact us today to arrange a meet-and-greet with this silky-soft sweetheart!
All APA! cats are fully vetted, spayed or neutered, and have updated vaccines and a microchip. Lifetime support is offered by our Cat Behavior Team.
For further information or to meet Hominy Flour please email adopt@austinpetsalive.org.
