If you see pets listed by a private owner, it means that they’re adoptable through Adopt a Pet’s Rehome program – the safe and reliable way to find a loving new home for your pet.
Archie is a 4.5 year old 75 pound labradoodle. He is a sweet boy who loves walks, fetch, being near his person, and people! He is a fun loving, goofy, energetic boy! He needs a home without small children or babies. My now toddler has caused him to feel fearful within a small home and I know he’d be happier in a childless home (no kids too young to understand boundaries). He loves playing with other dogs! He was raised with a senior cat and did great but has not had interaction with a cat for 3 years. Archie has anxiety and some problematic behaviors (jumping, counter surfing, car anxiety) but is such a sweetheart. He has a bite history (a single bite) when a stranger put their hand in the car. This unfortunately resulted in stitches. It was a management problem on my part and he is not considered a dangerous dog. He knows all the basic commands. His favorite game is chase :).
