Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
I found a new home! Plenty of my friends are looking for one too. Check out other pets at this shelter, or start a new search.

Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Max had a family for many years but they changed their minds. How he ended up in the shelter is a long story, but now, through no fault of his own, he is living out his golden years in the shelter.
We know he is a gentleman. He knows commands. He walks well on a leash. He is calm and gentle. He is BIG (76lbs!) We have yet to see him get riled up about anything.
We know there is a family out there with a sunny porch, a great yard for sniffing, and an empty spot for a big soft bed.
If this sounds like your family, come on down to Taney County Animal Control and meet Max!
