My name is Colby!

Colby is a curious, intelligent, social, and energetic dog. He is 7 months old, a mixed breed (Pointer/Hound possibly) I rescued. He knows many basic commands (sit, wait, down, touch, heel, side, and leave it) and walks well on a leash. I sadly have to surrender him because I recently moved to downtown Seattle from a midwestern suburb and cannot provide the life that would make him happiest. Colby needs green space to run and play, and because of his sociability (he's never had any issues with any other pets) he would be successful in a home with other dogs. He is not crate trained but totally housebroken (he never had an accident in the whole time I have had him), as he loves more than anything to come along with you anywhere and everywhere! Colby is an active dog who would thrive in a loving home that can provide a couple of hours of exercise a day - whether as a running, hiking, or walking partner. He loves new adventures and would love to join you on yours!
