My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Sunny is currently in foster care and available to meet you via virtual meet and greet. To begin the process, please submit an adoption survey and the team will reach out via email with next steps (please check spam). For any additional questions, please contact fosternyc@bestfriends.org.

Introducing Sunny! This handsome 10-year-old brown tabby is looking for a calm, patient home where he can take his time to adjust. The shelter environment can be a little overwhelming for him, but in a peaceful, quiet space, Sunny's sweet, affectionate side starts to shine through. While he may be more independent and take a bit longer to warm up, he's a gentle soul who enjoys his fluffy bed and relaxing in the sun.

Sunny likes petting and attention, though he can appear a bit stressed in the shelter, so he'll need an experienced cat parent who understands his need for patience and space. With the right environment, Sunny will blossom into the love bug we know he can be.
