Meet Moco, our charming 63#, male, 4-year-old Boxer mix! With his muscular build and playful demeanor, Moco is the epitome of fun and affection. He's always up for a game of fetch, a long walk, or just lounging around with his favorite humans. Moco's friendly nature and boundless energy make him a great companion for both active adventures and relaxing cuddle sessions. His expressive eyes and wagging tail are a testament to his loving personality. Moco's blend of enthusiasm and loyalty will bring joy and warmth to any home lucky enough to have him!

We do all adoptions with approved applicants by appointment ONLY. If you are interested in adopting, please contact us via email at jcas@co.johnson.in.us or call 317-738-6090 during regular business hours. We will happily help get an application to you. Once an application is submitted and approved, we can contact you to set an appointment to meet the pet!

Our adoption fee is $150.00 for dogs, $75 for kittens under 6 months of age and $50 for all cats 6 months and older. This will include a rabies vaccination (if age appropriate), spay or neuter, a microchip with registration, and all other age appropriate vaccinations.

More about this shelter

We are the all admittance shelter in Johnson County, we are not a 501c3, but a county run facility. We try our best to place each and every animal. We also house all animals picked up by Animal Control therefore; we intake a high volume of animals each year.
