Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi, I`m Pepper. I came in to the shelter as a stray with my friend Salt.

I`m a nice girl and like attention from people. I`m nervous around the other dogs here at the shelter. I do like some male dogs but, I don`t get along with female dogs.

I have some resource guarding with toys and treats. The staff feels I shouldn`t go to a home with young children as they won`t notice the low growl I give when taking items away from me.

I would probably be best as your only dog (or maybe adopt my friend Salt too?!?) If you do have a male dog, a meet and greet is required before adoption.

Please ask to meet me outside.

We are located at 725 E. Baseline, Apache Junction, AZ 85119. (East of Idaho Road and West of Tomahawk Road on the South side of Baseline). Our office is open Tuesday through Saturday 10:00am to 3:00pm. The kennel is open Tuesday through Saturday 10:00am to 3:00pm. We are closed Sundays and Mondays.
