This old soul is looking for an adult only home when he can enjoy a calm quiet home environment and be the center of attention. He can be aloof and takes time to warm up to new people He will love his daily leash walks and fenced backyard to hang out in. No off-leash parks until he has learned a recall, bonded with his new family, been observed with multiple one-on-one dog interactions and observed for prey drive potential. A private training class is a requirement with his adoption.

Adoptable pets are now available through Alberta Animal Rescue Crew Society (AARCS)

Effective March 1, 2021 AARCS began a pilot to manage pet adoption services for The City of Calgary. The goal is to reduce the time adoptable pets spend sheltered, for the overall welfare of the animals. AARCS has an extensive fostering network, which increases the opportunity for animals to be cared for in homes, instead of shelters, while they wait for their new family. Animal Services will continue to carry out medical and dental care and spay and neuters for adoptable animals before they are transported to AARCS for adoption or fostering. https://aarcs.ca/adoptable-animals/
