My personality

My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Jerry.

Or as we like to call him, Judgmental Jerry because his favorite hobby is to sit on his thrown and judge everyone around him.

Jerry came to us around 18mo old as a puppy mill/ backyard breeder dump, after living in a small "breeder hutch" his whole life. As you can imagine this has caused him to be very nervous and unsure about the world. He takes a while to warm up, but he is slowly learning to trust the people in his life.

Jerry will need a home that is very calm, quiet, and understanding of his lack of confidence and life experience. With the right person and in the right home we know this boy will blossom into an amazing dog.

More about this rescue

Homeward Bound Waggin is an all volunteer animal rescue and transport organization. We pull animals slated to be euthanized in our rural area and then find no kill rescues in other parts of the country that can take them. We also make them available for adoption in a broader geographical area.
