My personality

My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Oscar…

Oscar is less of a “go anywhere, do anything” bro and more of a “I live in my mothers basement at 40” bro 😅

He WON’T love you immediately, there will be no love at first sight, magical Disney connection, or meet cute to share on the streets on NY for TikTok. Honestly, he will probably pretty much just ignore you and if he isn’t on leash, he will likely avoid you the first time you meet him.

But once he gets to know you, you have sufficiently bribed him with hotdogs and dragged him around on a leash like a ball and chain he will stop hiding under your furniture and become cat level social towards you. I mean he’s a sentient mop without a handle, I’m not sure what you were expecting…
He doesn’t require much exercise, but he does enjoy the company of other dogs (especially brave dogs) and he won’t put up a fuss if you force him on a nice walk. Again, we are talking bro that’s living in his mother’s basement, doesn’t pay the bills, and has a part time job at the gas station while he waits for his crypto to make him rich. He’s no pro athlete or scholar in the making.

While he is tolerant of young children out and about it’s probably best he only went to a home with kids past the age of screaming and erratic running on a regular basis. He’s scared they might unalign his chakras and we’re scared it might force him into 6 more weeks of hiding like Punxsutawney Phil.

So if you’ve ever wanted your very own fluffy mop that may or may not have a personality (it’s a hot debate within our shelter, but his foster SWEARS he has one), would happily live rent free in your house forever, may barely say good morning to you, and you have a good dog to show him how to be a dog (or you own “The Idiots Guide to Being a Dog”), Oscar might be the dog for you!

You can fill out an app for him here!
