My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Oscar came to us after spending the first 18mo of his life living in a breeder hutch... As you can imagine this means he hasn't seen much of the world and can be a little shy and skittish.

Oscar would do best in a quiet home where he can just hang out and be your cuddle buddy, he loves a good chin scratch and a warm lap. He will also need someone who is patient and understanding of the fact he has never lived in a home and make take a bit to learn to trust those who live in it.

All that said he is currently in our Basic Manners Shelter Dog class and absolutely loving every moment of it. What can we say the way to his heart is through his stomach!

If you are looking for a small, laidback, adorably scruffy dude Oscar might be the one for you!

Homeward Bound Waggin is an all volunteer animal rescue and transport organization. We pull animals slated to be euthanized in our rural area and then find no kill rescues in other parts of the country that can take them. We also make them available for adoption in a broader geographical area.
