Here's what the humans have to say about me:

This gorgeous grey female tabby kitten is one of six siblings living with her incredibly friendly mama cat, Gelato, in a foster home. Truffle is people friendly and enjoys being held and is very interactive. She will curl up on a lap to rest but has plenty of energy to play with humans or toys. With five siblings, she's learned to be social, wrestle and play, and always gets along well, whether it's time for a game of chase or to cuddle up in a kitten pile. She has also gotten along well with another adult cat. Truffle will be a joy for any adopter!

The first step to adopting a cat or dog from Animal Friends Alliance is to fill out an adoption questionnaire. You can do this online!

The next step is to pick out a cat or dog! Check out our adoptable cats and adoptable dogs for pictures and short descriptions or come into the shelter at our Taft Hill campus. We also have adoptable cats at many offsite locations.

Note: not all available cats and dogs reside at our campuses. Some are at off-site adoption partners or in foster homes. If you are interested in a particular cat or dog, please call our shelter at (970) 484-8516 to find out about their current status and location.

We do not ship animals. You are required to come and meet your new addition prior to adoption so that we can ensure a good match.

Please note that we will make a copy of the adopters’ State ID card, Driver’s License or passport at the time of adoption.

Our spay/neuter clinic performs surgeries on both cats & dogs, and we also offer low-cost vaccination clinics every week.

Our organization's goal is to do everything in our power to prevent euthanasia due to 'homelessness'.
