Here's what the humans have to say about me:

This beautifully colored calico mom cat arrived locally with six little kittens. An incredibly sweet cat from the start, she craves attention and often asks for lots of pets! She particularly loves chin scratches and will happily sit in your lap. She loves to rest in high places, especially a window perch but quite often will sit nearby you so she can receive pets. Food is a sure way to her heart, but she absolutely loves good pets the most. She has proven that she can get along well with other cats. She would be a wonderful cat for anyone looking for a loyal companion to shower with attention.

The first step to adopting a cat or dog from Animal Friends Alliance is to fill out an adoption questionnaire. You can do this online!

The next step is to pick out a cat or dog! Check out our adoptable cats and adoptable dogs for pictures and short descriptions or come into the shelter at our Taft Hill campus. We also have adoptable cats at many offsite locations.

Note: not all available cats and dogs reside at our campuses. Some are at off-site adoption partners or in foster homes. If you are interested in a particular cat or dog, please call our shelter at (970) 484-8516 to find out about their current status and location.

We do not ship animals. You are required to come and meet your new addition prior to adoption so that we can ensure a good match.

Please note that we will make a copy of the adopters’ State ID card, Driver’s License or passport at the time of adoption.

Our spay/neuter clinic performs surgeries on both cats & dogs, and we also offer low-cost vaccination clinics every week.

Our organization's goal is to do everything in our power to prevent euthanasia due to 'homelessness'.
