My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Disclaimer: This animal is not in Anderson custody. and is a courtesy post to help a member of the community rehome directly without shelter intervention. Any adoption inquiries should be directed to the owner at kassandra.a.weber@gmail.com and/or (916) 549-7831. Henrietta | 3.5 yrs | F (spayed) | Australian Cattle Dog / German Shepherd Mix
UTD on all vaccines & preventatives, ~ 50lbs
Henrietta is a very silly and driven lady. She needs a guardian who is ready to provide consistency and frequent training. She is eager to please & very intelligent. She has a strong working drive.
Would not recommend a home with small living beings or other dogs. Henrietta knows all basic commands plus some extras, is potty, crate and muzzle trained, and LOVES sticks and belly rubs.
Henrietta does have fear-based dog reactivity, but it has been improving immensely with positive reinforcement training. She is at the point of intense staring when we are ~50ft from other dogs, but she is able to break focus. If we are closer, she will rear up & pull intensely.
Per the breed, she is likely to get hip dysplasia as she ages, so it is important to keep her on joint supplements & provide ample rest after long outings.
