Meet Peppercorn!
Pepper is a beautiful girl looking for her forever home. She came to us as a stray who was never claimed, and stole our hearts on day one. Pep has an estimated birthday of 10/1/2019, and she weighs roughly 50lbs. She does very well with other dogs, though we always require a meet and greet if you already have any at home. She does great with kids, but has not yet been tested with cats. Pepper is a smart lady, too, walking better on a leash every day, responding to basic commands such as "sit", and answering to her nickname "Pepper".
At this time, Pep is currently recovering from an orthopedic surgery on one of her rear legs, and looking for a home to foster her and ensure the best healing possible. Peppercorn recently underwent surgery to correct a tear in her ACL, and as such is currently on crate rest and will be until the fall holiday season. All medications, care instructions, and other supplies needed will be provided by the Humane Society for the duration of her foster. Since this surgery focuses on the joints, she cannot go to a home that requires daily use of stairs.
Peppercorn is fully vetted, spayed, and microchipped.
