My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Betty!

This beautiful momma is ready to find a home to spoil her for the rest of her days. Betty is a beautiful German Shepherd mix with an estimated birthday of 07/01/2018, weighing in just under 45lbs. When Bette came to us, she had just given birth to an adorable litter of feisty pups, so she spent the better part of three months in our care raising them and teaching them what's what. Now that she has officially retired from motherhood, it's all about Betty! In her time with us, we have gotten to spend lots of time getting to know her and her quirks. Betty is slowly inching towards her senior years, but is far enough from them that she still has a good time playing with toys here and there. Her favorite toy, you ask? Why, it's our mop! When Bette sees us bring the mop out, she is ready at a moment to pounce and grab the end of it to play tug! Although this is a habit we've tried to redirect from the mop strings to rope toys, Betty still gets her way occasionally. Now that she doesn't have little ones to watch over, Betty also enjoys spending lots of her time with other dogs. She spends her days in our play groups and social room, and is usually ready to curl up with one of her friends at the end of the day. Although we require a meet and greet if you already have any dogs in your home, we think she would be thrilled to have a new four-legged sibling. She hasn't yet been tested with cats, but she does well with children.

Betty is fully vetted, microchipped, and spayed. Her adoption fee is $175.
