Shady is a beautiful tortoiseshell 14-month old female who has had a tough start, but now you can give her a fairytale ending! Shady lost her human-person & she was being kicked out on to the tough streets of Frederiksted USVI where stray cats & dogs & cars exist. The building’s Tenants reached out to RCC and we took Shady in. While waiting for her spay surgery, she surprised us with a delivery on May 5 of 2 kittens, Taco & Margarita. & She has been an amazing mother to them and a fun “Auntie” to other foster kittens. NOW YOU CAN ADOPT SHADY! She is very sweet, loves pets & attention but not keen on being held. Shady has an opinion about things so be ready to have conversations with her! 😂 and Shady loves to will follow you everywhere and stay nearby. Her favorite sleeping spot is next to your legs but only when the lights are out.
She loves toys and chasing things and chasing kittens!

Meet the Pet

Our cats and kittens are cared for in foster homes, so if your application is approved, we will connect you with fosters to arrange meeting.

3.
Pay Fee

Our non-refundable adoption fee is $375 per single kitten, $600 for a bonded pair of kittens. Fees for adult and special needs cats vary.

We are a private, non-profit organization dedicated to saving cats lives! All of our kittens and cats are in private foster homes. We work very hard to make sure kittens are healthy, well socialized, and spayed/neutered prior to adoption. Please submit an application if you are interested in meeting and potentially adopting!
