My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

PLThis beautiful 2-year-old German Shepherd/kelpie mix girl is called Zelda and she is very special. This 50 lb girl endured ending up in a shelter sometime ago and was adopted out but spent the entire next year in the basement of the home of the adopter. How sad that she escaped the bondage of a shelter kennel and ended up in the dark basement hidden away and almost forgotten. She is now enjoying the love and nurturing of a foster home and family who are giving her the best of life while we wait for a new family to discover her. She is cray trained and housebroken and does beautifully with other dogs. Zelda has much of the German Shepherd traits in her personality and obviously those will include extreme intelligence, undying love and devotion to her owners, activity and exercise needed and a fenced in yard will round out the requirements for this girl. She is going to be someone's very special best friend forever. If you were interested in having a smart intelligent beautiful dog in your home and family life, please contact Critter Cavalry Rescue at ccrtennessee@gmail.comEASE NOTE:  Our dogs are transported from Tennessee to meeting places in the states where we have posted.  Further information about us is given on our Adopt-A-Pet site.  The adoption fees vary and will be provided as well as noted on the application you receive.  Contact us at 615-661-5333 or ccrnewengland@gmail.com

Adoption application

Go meet their pets

We are a full volunteer rescue organization. All of our animals are kept in loving foster homes, receiving the best care possible. A completed application must be submitted and approved to meet with our dogs/pups. A completed application helps us determine compatibility and also helps us to ensure a successful adoption.
