Foster cat's bio for their adoption profile: Howdy, my name is Dax. Myself, my 8 siblings and my 2 mamas were rescued when some bad person (persons) dumped us off at a farm. My 2 younger siblings were really little! The kind farm family took us under their wing and contacted SCAT to see if they could rescue us. Indeed they did! Whoopee! Our lives were saved! I now have a deep appreciation for life and won't waste another minute fretting about it. I run & climb; jump & tumble and chase anything that moves......which is usually my siblings. I really " give it" with the wand toys and balls. The noisier the balls.....the better! I'm only one of 2 boys in the group ( is that lucky or what). I'm an elegant tabby with pristine manners ( I don't kick litter around every where). I'm not a talker either. However, I must admit that I'm a tad shy, but when foster Auntie finally catches me, it doesn't take long for me to melt in her arms. I'm a big fan of chin and ear scritches by the way. Auntie tells me that I'm now ready to be adopted out to my forever home. I sure hope that my perfect home can find me! If you're reading this......might it be you? Waiting patiently & with much love, Dax

More about this rescue
Since 1996 SCAT Street Cat Rescue's prime focus has been feral cats because of the limited options available for them. TNR is a successful option instead of the traditional trap and kill. The majority of the cats rescued by SCAT, however, are socialized and available for adoption. As the city grows, so to does the need for our services. Adopt, Donate, Volunteer, TODAY!
