Those eyes! They truly show the path to her soul. Amora is precious pup who is trying to learn how to navigate the big world she is in. She appreciates how lucky she is to journey to Wisconsin to find her very own family and hopes to find someone who can be patient and gentle as she gets to know them. New people can cause Amora to be shy and protective but settles in once she feels comfortable. But with this comes fair warning that once she feels safe, she becomes the happy go lucky puppy she once only dreamt she could be! She adores playing with her ball, any kind of toy, and other members of her dog pack. If the cats are feeling cooperative, she will play with them too.
First impressions can mean alot, but Amora hopes she can get a second chance if she offends you with her protectiveness upon initial intros. She promises she will keep trying if you let her!
Amora would love a home with another dog to help her feel safe as she continues to learn what this world can offer. She has done well with older kids once she settled in. She does crate up on command and will keep her crate clean and dry. She has excelled at house training while being on a schedule. Thank you for your interest in a Sandi Paws Rescue, Inc. Please visit our site at sandipaws.org for more information on our organization or to fill out an application to adopt one of our pets. You can find information for volunteering on our site as well.

Additional adoption info
See our adoption process at www.sandipaws.org/adoption
A successful adoption depends on the selection of the right pet for your household and your understanding of your responsibility of adopting a rescued animal. Our adoption procedures have been designed to make sure all rescued Sandi Paws pets are placed in an appropriate, loving forever home, and to make sure all adopters find the right fit for their family. Prior to adoption, all dogs and cats will be given all age-appropriate vaccinations, including rabies, kennel cough, parvo and distemper, spaying/neutering, intestinal deworming, heartworm testing/treatment, microchipping, and monthly heartworm medication and flea prevention.
Note: We will adopt pets outside of Wisconsin if we can do necessary background and reference checks and the adopters agree to provide necessary follow up information. Also, the adopting family must agree to travel to pick up the pet and agree to transport them back to Wisconsin if they need to be returned at any time.
