My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Amora is 8 months old, 35# with a sleek red coat and soulful eyes that express how grateful she is to be rescued❤️ After spending most of her life in a shelter, Amora needed to find a new place. The shelter she knew as home was unexpectedly closing its doors. Leaving Amora and her siblings a very uncertain future. Thankfully Sandi Paws stepped in and transported these babies to safety in WI. Where they are looking forward and leaving the past behind🐾
Her name speaks for itself—love💕 Amora is the definition of sweet. Though timid at first, with gentle coaxing, patience (and some treats) Amora warms up quickly. After all, she’s just left everything she’s ever known and the world outside of a kennel can be a scary place! Going slow and allowing her to explore at her own pace will help her learn she is safe. Once comfortable, there’s no stopping her from begging for all the pets and love she can possibly soak in!❤️ With proper introductions and of course some time, Amora enjoys the company of other friendly dogs.
Amora is looking for her 2nd chance at life, only this time, she’s hoping for her furever as your bestie. Fill out an application and ask for Amora💕

Additional adoption info

See our adoption process at www.sandipaws.org/adoption

A successful adoption depends on the selection of the right pet for your household and your understanding of your responsibility of adopting a rescued animal. Our adoption procedures have been designed to make sure all rescued Sandi Paws pets are placed in an appropriate, loving forever home, and to make sure all adopters find the right fit for their family. Prior to adoption, all dogs and cats will be given all age-appropriate vaccinations, including rabies, kennel cough, parvo and distemper, spaying/neutering, intestinal deworming, heartworm testing/treatment, microchipping, and monthly heartworm medication and flea prevention.

Note: We will adopt pets outside of Wisconsin if we can do necessary background and reference checks and the adopters agree to provide necessary follow up information. Also, the adopting family must agree to travel to pick up the pet and agree to transport them back to Wisconsin if they need to be returned at any time.
