My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Gator, an adorable 3-month-old puppy originally from Tennessee who's bursting with sweetness and playful energy! This little guy is full of curiosity and is always ready to explore his surroundings, whether it's chasing after a toy or discovering a new favorite spot for belly rubs.

Gator is looking for a forever family who can give him plenty of love and guidance as he grows. With the right training and a lot of affection, Gator is sure to blossom into the perfect companion. He's excited to learn, play, and most importantly, share a lifetime of happiness with his new family. Could Gator be the missing piece to your home?

This cutie resides at our Wantagh location and meetings are by appointment only. If you are interested in meeting them, you must click "Apply for Adoption" to submit an online application. If you're viewing this animal on Petfinder, please visit the animal's page on Bideawee.org and click on the "Apply for Adoption" button to submit an adoption application. Once we receive your application, we will be in touch to schedule an appointment to meet them! Prior to adoption, all of our animals are spayed/neutered, microchipped and given their age-appropriate vaccines.

This animal has big plans this weekend to attend our pop-up adoption event outside of our Wantagh adoption center, located at 3300 Beltagh Avenue, this Saturday from 11:00 AM - 2:00 PM! If you are interested in meeting Gator, please submit an application online and we will contact you with more details on how to meet them at the event. If this animal does not get adopted from this event, they will be available for adoption by application at our Wantagh location.

This dog is currently being treated for a parasite, which is a treatable condition but makes them contagious to other dogs. Out of an abundance of caution, until they finish their treatment this dog should only be adopted to a home without any other dogs.
