My personality

My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Let's talk about BRUNO!

Bruno is a very large, young, and energetic Lab/ Coonhound mix and will need an active home willing to keep up with his boisterous personality. He would be a fantastic running, hiking, or even biking partner. He is currently enrolled in our Basic Manners Shelter Dog class and will absolutely need to continue his training to be the best version of himself.

While he is good with kids when out and about, because of his size and energy he would do best in a home with kids no younger than 8. Old enough to not be easily knocked down on accident.

Bruno's special need is he does have food allergies. He has been on Taste of The Wild Salmon for several months now with very good success.

If you are looking for an active adventure buddy, Bruno just might be the dog for you.

More about this rescue

Homeward Bound Waggin is an all volunteer animal rescue and transport organization. We pull animals slated to be euthanized in our rural area and then find no kill rescues in other parts of the country that can take them. We also make them available for adoption in a broader geographical area.
