Hi friends, I`m Dorito! My two brothers and I arrived at HP in August. We were transferred here from another shelter located in southern IL. I am the most shy out of my brothers. Even though I`m not a fan of being held, I do love to explore. I`m a curious guy who needs someone to be patient with me while I learn my surroundings and how to trust. Helping Paws is a no-kill animal shelter for stray and abandoned dogs and cats in McHenry County and surrounding areas. The animals are provided a safe place where they receive medical care, spaying or neutering, daily care and love, and the opportunity to be adopted by a responsible owner.
