***Currently located in Guerrero, Mexico***
Meet Tamara! This absolutely sweet and delightful dog has come a long way from her rough start in life.
She was discovered by friends of Surfers for Strays. They found her scrounging for scraps at the famous tamale restaurant in the town of Buena Vista. When our volunteers came to check on the situation, they immediately fell in love with her. At this time Tamara was emaciated and we already had a suspicion of her having Ehrlichiosis which got confirmed and treated very quickly.
Tamara was nursed back to health in our shelter in Zihuatanejo. She is a fun loving, playful dog with a goofy face and sweet demeanor. She loves to play and greet everyone who comes into our shelter, while being quite submissive. She is friendly with other dogs and lived with multiple cats.
Since July she is living with a wonderful foster, where she learns more every day, how to "dog" :)
She cannot wait to meet her future furever family!
