My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

In foster care, fill out the application on our website www.mynewcat.org

Hi! My name is Contessa. Don’t let my small size fool you, I have a big purrsonality! I’m 8 years old but with lots of kitten energy. I love to play with toys, ambush my foster brothers, and gallop through the house. I also love following my foster family around and snuggling with them.
I usually spend an hour or so snuggled as close to my foster mom as I can get before she lets me out to “seize the night.”
I get along good with my foster cat brothers and my foster dog sister. I might take some time to get to know you before I am comfortable but once I am you will find me to be very out-going and friendly companion.

More about this rescue

My New Cat is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit charity dedicated to finding forever homes for homeless cats and kittens. All donations are used for the cats. There are no paid officers, employees or volunteers. We rely on foster homes to shelter and care for the cats so we are always looking for qualified foster homes.
