My personality

My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Rocky may be a senior, but he sure doesn't act like it! This boy is ALWAYS ready for an adventure, whether it be to Hobby Lobby or a long hike, he doesn't care, as long as he gets to ride shotgun on the way there! And if you drive to slow or take too long to get him his treats- you WILL hear about it!

While he is always ready for an adventure the beauty of being an older gentleman is that he also understands the joys of a good nap. Although, he is convinced he's a lap dog...

Like many of our dogs he is currently participating in our Basic Manners Shelter Dog class and working with a volunteer to be the best he can be. This is by far one of his favorite days of the week, he would absolutely love to continue training and maybe even try something like Rally!

More about this rescue

Homeward Bound Waggin is an all volunteer animal rescue and transport organization. We pull animals slated to be euthanized in our rural area and then find no kill rescues in other parts of the country that can take them. We also make them available for adoption in a broader geographical area.
