My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

When Coco arrived at Pathways, she was very pregnant. She gave birth to 5 pups and all have been adopted. It's now Coco's turn to find her furever home.

Coco loves to lay on the highest part of the couch and watch everything around her! At just over 2 years old, she still loves to play in moderation. She enjoys a good comfy spot to curl up in and sleep.

Coco is up to date on her shots, microchipped and her spay is scheduled. She gets along with all sized dogs and humans, although we are unsure of cats.

In some circumstances, meeting the dog and a home check are done at the same time if the dog is ready to be adopted. We do have conversation with potential adopters prior to them meeting the dog. If they are interested in adopting a puppy who is not ready for adoption (not altered, not UTD, etc) they are able to put a hold on the pup until ready for adoption.

Pathways for Paws was founded in October 2019. We are a 501(c)(3) non-profit, no-kill, animal welfare organization.

Our mission is to make spay/neuter & vaccinations affordable to those in our communities. By achieving this, we will help prevent the neglect & abuse of dogs. All dogs in our care are spay/neutered, given the age appropriate vaccinations and microchipped before going to their FURever families.

We work with rescues & fellow animal advocates to continue growing a network of volunteers and supporters.
