My personality

My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Cubbie and Dixie are a super sweet bonded pair of 2-year-old cats. Unfortunately, their owner passed away so they are looking for a new home. Both cats are friendly and affectionate with people but can be nervous about new situations. They have been living in a foster home and are doing well. Dixie loves to play with her favorite mouse toy and Cubbie loves to relax underneath blankets. The cats love each other and must be adopted as a pair.

If a cat or kitten is listed on our website, that means they are still available for adoption but there may be applications received ahead of yours. All adoption meetings are by appointment. Our cat adoption fee for cats 7 months - 2 years is $250 for a single cat or $500 for a pair. The adoption fee includes age-appropriate vaccines, dewormer, microchip, testing for FeLV, and spaying/neutering when old enough.

More about this shelter

The Medfield Animal Shelter's mission is to rescue lost or abandoned animals and provide for their comfort and safety until they are reunited with their owners or placed in new homes. We are a no-kill shelter, which means no pet will ever be euthanized because it has run out of time to find a home. We are committed to ending the overpopulation of pets that results in an estimated 5 million companion pets being euthanized at shelters in the U.S. every year, therefore all cats, rabbits and dogs adopted from us are spayed and neutered prior to adoption. We also sponsor a low cost spay/neuter clinic for cats at our shelter once a month.
