Yellow Jacket is a total hambone lovebug. She wants all of your attention, all the time, and she'll get it by
climbing in your lap or on your head, rubbing against you, and sticking her face into yours. She's a high
energy kitten who loves to play with other cats and with people, and she will reward you with a mighty purr. She
is a young lady that needs a lot of stimulation, or she'll find ways to get herself into trouble - there's no
shortage of curiosity in this one! When she's finally tired herself out, she'll plant herself right in your lap for a
nap

More about this shelter

The Maryland SPCA connects wonderful pets to loving owners. We are not affiliated with any national animal organization, and we do not receive any government or United Way funding. Our mission is to prevent cruelty and neglect of animals through fostering the humane relationship between animals and people. We operate primarily in the Greater Baltimore Metropolitan area.

To make sure that our dogs and cats do not contribute to the pet overpopulation problem, every one is spayed or neutered before going into a new home. The cost is included in the adoption fee, as are the costs of shots and other necessary care. In addition, a free Positive Pooch class is available to our dog adopters.

There is no set time limit for how long an animal can remain in our adoption program. As long as an animal maintains general good health and a sound temperament, we keep him or her until adopted. We pride ourselves on providing premium care to the animals in a clean, pleasant environment. Our adoption staff works diligently to pair up adopters with the best animal match for their homes and lifestyles.

We transport animals from other shelters to our adoption center to help more animals get adopted. We also help pet owners find new homes for their pets so their animals don’t need to enter shelter care.
