Persephone is about 3 years old. She was adopted from a rescue at 6 months old. At the time of adoption she was extremely skittish…and still is today. Much time was spent trying to work on her fear of people, but to this day she wants nothing to do with humans. She has never shown signs of aggression, she just wants nothing to do with humans. But, she absolutely loves other cats. She loves being with my other cat, and gets along with my roommates dog. I recently moved from a small apartment into a larger house, and it’s clear in this large house she’s not thriving. Now that she can hide in the basement, she spends most of her time there and cries because my other cat prefers staying upstairs with people. I’m hoping to find her a home that has other cats that will help her feel more secure. Other than her fear of humans, she is an occasional chewer of plants.
