My name is Libby!

Forever Home Wanted: Meet Libby!!!  

Libby is a sweet girl who just needs a little bit of time and patience to show her true, wonderful self.  She came to Labradors and Friends Dog Rescue in a lot of pain with one of her paws degloved.  Libby is all recovered now after getting treatment from our vet.   We aren't sure how her injury happened but it explains her shyness and fear around new people.  Despite going through this, she has made huge strides with the volunteers she has learned to love and trust.  We know with continued love and patience, she will keep gaining trust and blossom into her full happy pup potential.   Libby is now getting to experience family life in her wonderful foster home and looking for her forever home.  She loves to play fetch (brings it back and even drops it!) and loves playing with other dogs.  Libby rides well in the car and enjoys feeling the breeze blowing through her fur.  She is house trained (no accidents in her foster home!) and walks beautifully on leash.  Like all young dogs, Libby will need an active family that is committed to training, daily exercise, mental stimulation and exposing her to lots of adventures to help her become the best girl possible.  If that home sounds like yours, email dogs@labradorsandfriends.org or fill out our online application at www.labradorsandfriends.org  Libby is located in Southern California.
