My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Location: Watertown, MN

Meet Nike, an adorable husky mix who will be ready for adoption when she is 8 weeks old. This girl will likely be a medium-large dog and is full of love, curiosity, and puppy energy. She's ready to find her forever home!

Out of all the puppies, Miss Nike is the most kind-hearted soul. She is the littlest of the bunch and definitely the most soft-natured, but holds her own with her more rambunctious siblings! She's gentle and cuddly, but likes to explore the world around her as well. She's a big fan of stuffy toys and she's even carried around the giant ones for my much larger adult dogs. Like all puppies, she is still mastering potty training and will need continued support and patience from her adoptive family to help her succeed. I've been starting the basics of training with this whole litter from a young age and Nike would benefit greatly from continued positive reinforcement training to help boost her confidence in the world!

At this young age, socialization is key, and Nike will benefit from exposure to new people, environments, and other animals. She gets along well with older, large adult dogs in the house and because she is so young I don't think that she would have a problem with cats. Introducing her to new experiences will help her grow into a well-rounded, confident adult dog.

If you're ready to welcome the absolutely sweetest puppy into your home and help Nike grow into an amazing adult dog, we'd love for you to meet her!

The best way to show interest in an animal is to submit an adoption application by visiting our website (www.rescuenetworkmn.org).

Adoption fee includes spay/neuter, all age-appropriate vaccinations (Distemper, Rabies, and Bordetella), heartworm and flea/tick preventatives, heartworm test (dogs), FIV/FeLV test (cats), dewormed, and microchip implant (including registration).

Rescue Network is strictly foster based which means all adoptable animals are in a home and there cannot be a meet until an application is submitted and approved. We have no way of knowing the breeds in the animals. All breeds listed are best guess.
