My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Location: Watertown, MN

Meet Puma, an adorable husky mix who will be ready for adoption when she is 8 weeks old. This girl will likely be a medium-large dog and is a clever girl full of puppy energy. She's ready to find her forever home!

Puma is the inquisitive little adventurer of the group! She's always the first to try something new and is very eager to figure things out. She's also a big toy lover and likes to hop herself right in the the toy basket to pick the right ones! She loves wrestling with her siblings and enjoys following my larger dogs around too. Like all puppies, she is still mastering potty training and will need continued support and patience from her adoptive family to help her succeed. I've been starting the basics of training with this whole litter from a young age and Puma is a very bright and observant young puppy who would do amazing with continued positive reinforcement training.

At this young age, socialization is key, and Puma will benefit from exposure to new people, environments, and other animals. She gets along well with older, large adult dogs in the house and because she is so young I don't think that she would have a problem with cats. Introducing her to new experiences will help her grow into a well-rounded, confident adult dog.

If you're ready to welcome a fun-loving puppy into your home and help Puma grow into an amazing adult dog, we'd love for you to meet her!

The best way to show interest in an animal is to submit an adoption application by visiting our website (www.rescuenetworkmn.org).

Adoption fee includes spay/neuter, all age-appropriate vaccinations (Distemper, Rabies, and Bordetella), heartworm and flea/tick preventatives, heartworm test (dogs), FIV/FeLV test (cats), dewormed, and microchip implant (including registration).

Rescue Network is strictly foster based which means all adoptable animals are in a home and there cannot be a meet until an application is submitted and approved. We have no way of knowing the breeds in the animals. All breeds listed are best guess.
