My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Location: Watertown, MN

Meet Champion, an adorable husky mix who will be ready for adoption when he is 8 weeks old. Champion will likely be a medium-large dog and is just the most loving boy. He's ready to find his forever home!

Champion is just a certified sweetheart! He's the biggest of his siblings and the only boy of his litter. He's got such a charming little personality and loves to explore. He's not the sharpest crayon in the box all of the time, but he makes up for it with the most endearing qualities like always being the first to come snuggle in my lap and making friends with everyone he meets. Like all puppies, he is still mastering potty training and will need continued support and patience from his adoptive family to help him succeed. I've been starting the basics of training with this whole litter from a young age and Champion is very food motivated and would do great with continued positive reinforcement training.

At this young age, socialization is key, and Champion will benefit from exposure to new people, environments, and other animals. He loves the older, large adult dogs in the house and because he is so young I don't think that he would have a problem with cats. Introducing him to new experiences will help him grow into a well-rounded, confident adult dog.

If you're ready to welcome a sweet hunk of a puppy into your home and help Champion grow into an amazing adult dog, we'd love for you to meet him!

The best way to show interest in an animal is to submit an adoption application by visiting our website (www.rescuenetworkmn.org).

Adoption fee includes spay/neuter, all age-appropriate vaccinations (Distemper, Rabies, and Bordetella), heartworm and flea/tick preventatives, heartworm test (dogs), FIV/FeLV test (cats), dewormed, and microchip implant (including registration).

Rescue Network is strictly foster based which means all adoptable animals are in a home and there cannot be a meet until an application is submitted and approved. We have no way of knowing the breeds in the animals. All breeds listed are best guess.
