My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Emma is an amazing girl, that currently resides in a foster home, and a meet and greet can easily be arranged. Emma loves Kids!!! Emma is a smart girl who is dog friendly and loves to play. Emma enjoys being close to people and has so much love to give. Emma has an old, healed fracture that does not slow her down or limit her at all. Emma is a Joy!!! Emma is potty trained. Emma would fit in perfectly in an active home, or just the opposite a quiet home. She walks easily on a leash! Ask us more about Emma!!

More about this shelter

A not-for-profit organization, Monroe County Friends of Animals help the County by raising funds to build a new facility for our animals. It is called the Eastbourne Animal Center and has now replaced the old Monroe County Animal Shelter. They provide volunteers, fundraising events, grant writing and more. There is always a need for more volunteers. With a small budget, donations are a welcome necessity. We have developed educational programs to promote spay/neuter and humane care of all animals.
