Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Meet Cici!
A sweet, one-year-old Belgian Malinois/Dutch Shepherd mix from Tuscaloosa, AL, whose enthusiasm is as boundless as her love. Draped in a dark brown brindle coat, Cici is a high-energy girl who’s always ready to meet the day with excitement and joy. Whether she’s greeting you with her happy barks or nudging you for playtime, her vibrant personality shines through in every moment! With her large size and powerful presence, she’ll not only steal your heart but also be the perfect protector for your home—her natural instincts make her a fantastic guard dog.
Cici is exceptionally intelligent and picks up on commands quickly. She already knows “sit,” “lay down,” “paw,” and “stay,” and she’s always eager to show off her skills! She’s crate-trained and feels most comfortable sleeping in her crate at night, giving her a cozy spot to unwind after a day full of adventure. While she’s got a lot of energy, she’s always eager to please, and with some positive reinforcement, she’ll be the star of any obedience training class.
Cici has a playful spirit, and her love for kongs, chew toys, and even ice cubes makes her the perfect companion for interactive fun. Long walks, a game of fetch, or even just hanging out with her favorite chew toy will keep her content. Though she’s neutral toward other dogs, she has an extra soft spot for her chihuahua friend (even though the feeling isn’t quite mutual). It’s important to note that while Cici has never bitten anyone, she can get nervous around unfamiliar dogs and people, so her vet has suggested using a muzzle as a precaution during outings.
Cici is looking for a family with time and space to match her needs. A home with a fenced yard where she can run and explore would be ideal. She thrives on routine, enjoying two meals a day and being part of an active, loving household.
Are you ready for an energetic and loyal companion who will fill your life with joy and excitement? Cici is waiting to meet you! Contact adopt@joyfulpets.com to learn more about Cici and how you can bring her home!
