My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Vero, Female. smallest of the group. About 7 pounds, 12 weeks old. Sweet as pie. Kisses and hugs with belly rubs are her favorite thing More laid back than the others but still very playful and friendly. These pups were born to a mom who is about 25-30 pounds, yellow color lab mix. Mom was saved from the shelter as an underweight young adult and soon was discovered that she was pregnant. A few of the pups were larger size and she she required an emergency c section and the vet is pretty sure there was more than one dad and a couple of the larger pups appear to be husky mix--Vero and her sister Bunny. They are expected to be medium size when grown.

We are a group of volunteers who have volunteered in rescue for almost 10 years. We are so committed to rescue, spay/neuter, medical care for homeless dogs and wanted to make a difference so we started our own non-profit, 501c3, USDA approved rescue in Massachusetts. We work with rescue partners in Texas to address the growing incidence of animal homelessness.
