My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Belle is the sweetest girl you'll ever meet. She loves to run around and play but more than that, she loves to cuddle.

Unfortunately (or maybe fortunately for you?), Belle suffers from a bad case of FOMO. She needs to be around you 24/7 or else she will meow meow meow for hours, until she's in your arms again. Due to Belle's people-friendly nature, we believe she would do well in a variety of households, including those with cat saavy children! Belle would do best being adopted along with her foster-friend, Benny, or into a home with another young cat or kitten that she can be pals with. She hasn't yet met a dog in foster, but we suspect she may do OK with a cat-savvy pup, with proper introductions.

Belle surprisingly hasn't been too interested in wet food so far in foster care. Her foster mom has tried almost every single flavor of Purina Fancy Feast pate and miss girl is just not interested. For now, she likes to stick to the basics (Purina healthy kitten formula - dry food). Her favorite toys are fuzzy balls and little mice. She loves to watch TV, especially Cat TV on Youtube.

Belle is such a well-behaved little princess, the perfect addition to your home and the perfect companion for lazy evenings/movie nights. She is approximately 4.5 months old. She is spayed, vaccinated, flea treated, dewormed, microchipped, and has tested negative for FIV/FeLV. Looking for a kitty that is great with other cats/ kittens and craves your companionship? Consider adopting Belle today!

Their adoption process

1.

Submit Application

Typically we talk a little with potential adopters to find a cat who is a good fit before sharing the application.

2.

Approve Application

We check over the application including checking vet references and doing landlord checks.

3.

Interview

We spend more time chatting with the adopters to specifically go over any questions from the application and details about the specific cat.

4.

Meet the Pet

Potential adopters have a meet and greet with the cat or kitten in the foster home.

5.

Sign Adoption Contract

At the meet and greet, if all goes well, the adoption contract can be signed, the fee can be paid, and the pet can go home!

6.

Pay Fee

7.

Take the Pet Home

Additional adoption info

We try to do our best to make sure we find good fitting, responsible homes, without wasting a lot of our time. Our app has a lot of screening questions which help eliminate potential adopters who might not be serious (they usually just don't return the app), or not a good fit, which is why the in depth interview happens once the app is returned.

More about this rescue

We are a small but dedicated 501c3 nonprofit cat rescue specializing in making one person's garbage kitten another person's forever cat.

Our mission is to reduce feline suffering and overpopulation using a combination of TNR and adoptions. We foster and socialize whenever we have the resources to do so, including behavioral cats and kittens who might otherwise just be candidates for TNR.
