My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Are you ready to add a splash of color and a dash of creativity to your life? Look no further than Van Gogh, our 4-month-old feline artist in the making! This little furball is full of energy and has a personality as vibrant as his namesake's palette.

Van Gogh is not just any kitten-he's a bundle of joy with a slight twist! His tail has a charming kink that adds a unique brushstroke to his already remarkable appearance. It's a quirk that makes him even more endearing, like the perfect signature on a masterpiece.

This playful pint-sized Picasso is looking for a home where he can be the center of attention-and a place where he can collaborate with another feline friend. Van Gogh thrives on companionship and would love a fellow kitty to share his playful escapades and catnip creations. After all, every great artist needs a muse!

If you're ready to adopt a lively little artist who will turn your home into a gallery of giggles and joy, Van Gogh is your kitten. Come meet him today and discover how this one-of-a-kind kitty can add a touch of magic to your life! 🎨🐾

The BC SPCA is a non-profit organization dedicated to protecting and enhancing the quality of life for domestic, farm and wild animals in British Columbia. Through its locations and operations across the province the BC SPCA provides emergency medical care and sheltering for more than 37,000 animals each year. The society also conducts more than 4,600 cruelty investigations and provides a wide range of advocacy and education programs for domestic, farm and wild animals through its Provincial Office.

Our mission, vision and charter is at the heart of all we do to rescue, protect and care for animals. It is also the driving force behind our animal welfare and education programs.

Our Charter:

The BC SPCA Charter is the foundation that guides the work we do:

Whereas:

The world is inhabited by many species sharing a common ecosystem of air, earth, and water. We recognize and value our interconnectedness with all animals.

Therefore:

The BC Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals is dedicated to protecting and enhancing the quality of life for the animals of the world we share.

We pledge our energies to inspire and mobilize society to create a world in which all animals, who depend on humans for their well-being, experience, as a minimum, five essential freedoms:

1. Freedom from hunger and thirst

2. Freedom from pain, injury, and disease

3. Freedom from distress

4. Freedom from discomfort

5. Freedom to express behaviours that promote well-being.
