My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Daisy is a lovable, young Shepherd/Lab/Hound Mix. She' was born around December of 2022, and weighs 55lbs. Before ending up a rural GA shelter, and later coming to BarkVille Dog Rescue, Daisy had only ever lived outside. This sweet girl had not had much training or socialization until now, and is currently learning all the important things in her foster home. She's working on her house training, crate training, and is already pretty good on leash. Daisy is dog friendly, and enjoys playing with the other dogs in her foster home! Daisy can be slow to warm up to strangers, as she hasn't met many people in her short life, but she is getting better and better with more outings!

Daisy loves to spend her days playing fetch with her "chuck it" balls, frolicking in the sprinkler, and spending time with her human and doggy friends. She still has lots of puppy antics, so she would love a family who will continue working on her basic training and obedience. A quieter home with or without other dogs, would be ideal for Daisy! Eleventh Hour Rescue, based in Morris County NJ, is a primarily volunteer run, no-kill rescue that saves animals on Death Row from high-kill shelters. Eleventh Hour Rescue dogs and cats are cared for by our compassionate and dedicated team of volunteers and staff. Whether in foster homes, our kennel or adoption centers, each dog and cat receives a clean and safe living environment, fresh food and water, medical attention, and most importantly an abundance of love and care until they find their FURever homes. We are dedicated to educating the community about the animal over-population problem and the importance of spaying and neutering. All funds go directly to supporting our animals and their needs. We are an eligible charity under federal code 501(c)3 founded in 2004.
