My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi there! I’m Lance, a one-year-old brown and white domestic shorthair with medium-length fur and the fluffiest tail you’ll ever meet. I wandered up to a kind lady’s house, and she helped me find my way to a loving place where I’m now waiting for my forever home. I’m super friendly (once I get to know you!) and a little cautious at first. But give me a moment, and I’ll be rubbing all over you and chatting away like we’re the best of friends! I love to be around people and enjoy sharing my fluffy company. I’m currently adoptable and can’t wait to find someone who’ll appreciate my charming personality and, of course, my fabulous, fluffy tail! If you’re looking for a companion to brighten your days, I’m your guy! For more information about me, please email info@frastx.org

More about this rescue

Friends of Rescue Animals (FRAs) is a 501(c)(3) all volunteer non-profit organization.  FRAs was founded in 2004 and started off with 4 volunteers that wanted to support the Rowlett Animal Shelter.

Our organization has grown to 400 volunteers supporting both the Rowlett Animal Shelter and the Garland Animal Shelter. With this growth now we are able to host multiple off-site adoption events, sponsor heartworm treatments program, operate our own cat rescue program, and so much more!
