My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Pablo, a sweet and sprightly 12-year-old, 29.9-pound Terrier mix with plenty of love and energy to share! Despite his age, this charming gentleman still has a pep in his step and enjoys a variety of activities. He’s housetrained, loves lounging on his bed, and is always eager for treats!

Pablo is currently thriving in his foster home, where he enjoys walks, running around the house, and chasing toys—he recently spent a whole hour chasing a noisemaker! He loves chewing on bones and is always ready to curl up in your lap for some snuggle time.

While Pablo takes a minute to warm up to new people and places, he quickly becomes your loyal shadow, following you around the house and soaking up affection. He's friendly with the smaller male dog in his foster home and hasn't been exposed to kids, but his gentle nature suggests he would likely do well with them. Pablo is adaptable, happy, and very loyal to his people.

He’s crate trained but prefers sleeping either crated in the bedroom or snuggling in the bed with his foster dad. Pablo enjoys brief outdoor adventures but tires quickly and prefers to relax indoors where it’s cool. He would do best in a calm home, possibly with another quiet canine sibling to keep him company.

Looking for a sweet and loyal companion? Pablo would love to be part of your family! His minimum adoption fee is $195, plus a $15 fee if 4 months or older for rabies registration for McLean County residents.

He has been neutered, microchipped, vaccinated, heartworm checked, dewormed, and is on flea and heartworm preventatives.
