**Seeking a foster for Ranger, preferrably with a 6 foot fence or situation that can keep him safe, but exercised.***
Ranger is a sweet male English Setter. He is about 4- 5 years old and had been good with other dogs, but probably best with females. He did vie for dominance in a situation with two other males, but accepts subordinate position with a dominant female. He is totally fine at a dog park, (kind of is oblivious to many dogs as he runs to look for birds and squirrels). Ranger is a big lover, loves people and wants to be around you, gives hugs, likes to be near.We have the feeling that Ranger was probably cooped up a lot in his past. He has a lot of energy that needs to get out. However we also are discovering he can likely jump a 4 foot fence, so we are looking for fosters or adopters with a 6 foot fence and/or electric fence or acreage and collar type of thing. We are trying to learn what Ranger best needs to have the good life. If you have those kinds of situations please contact us! P.S. Getting him to a dog park to burn off his energy helps a lot!
If you are interested in fostering or adopting, please complete an appropriate interest application at https://redemptionroadrescue.rescuegroups.org/forms/form?formid=4003
*Adoption fees range from $525-$650, depending on details of the individual animal*
