My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Birthdate:  05/10/2022

Breed: One of a kind

Weight: 70 lbs

Curtis is a charming and adventurous canine with a sleek black coat that is sure to catch your eye. Though he was once abandoned, his affectionate nature and good-natured personality make him a perfect addition to any family. Curtis is a social butterfly, and loves to spend time with other dogs and people alike. His favorite activity is going on long walks, where he can explore and stretch his legs. He's also a huge fan of ear scratches and will be sure to shower you with affection in return. With his easy-going temperament and loyal heart, Curtis is the ultimate family dog - always ready for a new adventure and eager to make memories with those he loves.

Walk-ins are welcome! Stop by during our open hours to meet our available dogs!!

Before you can adopt, please complete an adoption questionnaire on our website at pawscrossedny.org/dog-adoption-questionnaire. If you have any questions, please email us at adoptions@pawscrossedny.org for more information. Please understand that we cannot hold any pets. All adoptions are done on a first come, first adopt basis for pre-approved applicants.

The Shelter software system requires that we choose a predominant breed or breed mix for our dogs. Visual breed identification in dogs is unreliable so for most of our dogs we are only guessing at predominant breed or breed mix. We encourage you to select your new companion by considering each dog's individual personality and pet qualities instead of relying on a breed label that is only a guess.
