My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

**Please note that Pearl is a courtesy post and is not located at or affiliated with Paws Crossed Animal Rescue.

Pearl is an English Setter, approximately 6,7,8 years old....we really don't know.  She was brought into the Police Station by her "finder", emaciated, mammary tumors, in tact, urine stains all over her back end, double ear infections, and a UTI that she probably had forever.  Used for breeding then thrown away when she was no longer of any use.  She was brought to the city shelter.

Beautiful pearl. the time has come for Pearl to look for her forever family. But we will tell you this,we will be extremely selective because this dog is one of the most amazing dogs I have ever fostered. Pearl is sweet, beautiful, loving and craves, your love, great with dogs of all sizes, is curious about cats, so not sure having one would be perfect for Pearl. She’s wonderful with children. If you ask me one negative thing, I can tell you about pearl, there are none! She has been through so much, and is now a healthy, happy lady!

A home with a good size fenced in yard is required  Pearl loves to run around the yard and she is a bird dog so if one comes around, she will chase it. She does well on her harness for walks, she loves riding in the car, and we prefer a home where someone is around more than at work all day long. Whether you work from home or are Retired /semi retired whatever it may be. Older children, although she loves all kids, older is preferred.. Only the best for Pearl.  Serious inquiries only please  Her adoption fee is $800 Any specific questions email: jlphogan@yahoo.com

Please go to the link to fill our our adoption application.  https://www.remembermerescueny.net/adoption-application

We have a very high volume of applications and we are all volunteers. We cannot respond to every application personally. Please make sure your application gives us a good picture of your family and the life you plan on providing a dog from our rescue. We choose a home based on the BEST FIT for EACH dog and approve on a dog by dog basis. Thank you!

Remember Me Rescue does not adopt out of the local area, no transport is available.  We adopt to Long Island, Westchester, NYC area and parts of Connecticut only.
