Minnie!

Making the most of her second chance at life is marvelous, mischievous 8.5-month-old Minnie! With her outsize personality that belies her slight 7 pounds, she may just be the cutest, most constant cuddler her fosters have ever met. Coziest in the company of people, she loves everyone equally, even sitting on her foster mom’s lap or trying to walk on the keyboard of her computer while she works. Fond of belly rubs and burrowing under the covers, sweet and sassy Minnie enjoys engaging with her doggy foster friends of assorted ages and sizes, standing up for herself in the most adorable, yet forceful way. She also enjoys going for walks, walking well on leash despite her interest in passing squirrels, playing with toys, particularly small stuffed animals, and chewing on MilkBone biscuits. While she currently knows no commands, she’s motivated by food, toys and love, is eager to please and should prove easy to teach. Never crated and diligently at work on her house-training, Minnie will flourish in a loving home without cats, perhaps with another playful canine companion, and adoring adopters who will complete her training, including her commands, and keep her in cuddles fur-ever.
 

Animal Rescue of the Rockies believes every pet should find a wonderful and caring home. To ensure each pet finds the best possible home, we ask you fill out our adoption application so we can learn more about you and your household. We review each application in the order submitted and will contact you within 48 hours (please check your spam folder for our emails).

If you and the dog are a good match then we'll connect you with our dog's foster parents to chat more in-depth. If both you and the foster agree that the dog is a good fit then a meet and greet is scheduled. We require applicants' dogs to meet ours to ensure they get along. We'll ask you to read and sign our adoption agreement and pay the adoption fee to complete the adoption when it comes time. Our adoption fees help cover the costs of saving more lives!  A home visit will be scheduled within one week of your new pet going home with you. 

The adoption fee for this pet is $425. Our adoption fee covers the following:

Spay/neuter

Microchip

DAPP vaccinations as age-appropriate for the dog. 

Rabies vaccinations as age-appropriate for the dog.

Adopters shall be responsible for all vaccinations after adoption.

Our adoption process is:

1. Fill out our Adoption Application online.  We'll contact you within 48 hours to answer any questions you may have about the pet.

2. If the pet looks like a great match, we'll schedule a meet and greet and ask you to fill out our online Adoption Agreement if you'd like to proceed with adopting.  Once you've completed the Adoption Agreement and pay the pet's Adoption Fee, you can arrange to pick up your new furry family member!
