Toby is a very loving, sweet two year old Yorkie-Poodle blend. He was recently treated for fleas/ticks at our vet's office, which led to him to having a close grooming. However, he'll soon be the Yorkie-Poo we know he is. He is a kind dog, loves attention, wanting only to please. Toby would do best having having someone around much of the day. He gets along with dogs and children, we can check with cats if needed. Can you give him a second chance at a loving home that will last forever? You'll fall head over heels for this sweet boy.To adopt this pet, please go to hsnwga.org, 'Adoption' then 'Application for Adoption', to complete an online application to be preapproved. Submit Application

Go to hsnwga.org to apply for a dog or cat. Once approved you can meet the dog or cat at our shelter and take them home.

2.
Sign Adoption Contract

Our adoption fees for dogs are $275 and up. All are age appropriately vetted and chipped.

3.
Take the Pet Home

Fridays: 3pm – 5pm
Saturdays: 11am – 2pm

During adoption hours we have volunteers available to show dogs and cats to the public. For safety/insurance reasons we can only allow those 12 years or older to go into the dog kennel wing of the shelter. We ask all visitors not to stick their fingers/hands into the dog kennels. Our adoptable dogs and cats are viewable through our website. Everyone interested in applying for a dog or cat must submit an application through our website. We receive multiple applications for each animal. Applications for particular animals are based on best fit for each animal based on each animal’s behaviors and needs. An application not being selected for a particular animal does not necessarily mean the application was denied, but just that another application was approved.

The mission of the Humane Society of Northwest Georgia is to reduce the number of healthy animals euthanized in Whitfield County through the continuation of our successful adoption program, aggressive spay/neuter program, promotion of responsible pet ownership and humane education.
