Name: June
Breed: Domestic Short Hair
Sex: Spayed Female
Age: 10.5 years
Weight: 6.5 lbs
Has Medical Needs
Good with dogs? Yes, June can live with with peaceful dogs
Good with cats? June would like to be a single cat, or could co-exist with another cat in a spacious home where she can find her own, cozy, quiet spot when she likes.
Good with kids? Yes, in her foster home, June seeks companionship from a 7 month old baby and is best friends with a 7 year old child.
Energy level: Low. June is a champion snoozer and is awake for about four hours a day, which she spends walking around her home, visiting her people, checking out the sights and sounds, and hanging out in warm, sunny patches.
Medical/Behavioral needs: June has hyperthyroidism, so she takes daily medication and eats special food, which she finds delicious! This year, sweet June lost her best friend, a gentle, male cat her own age. She is in search of forever companionship with a human, and will be sure to protect her adopter from loneliness.
Animal Characteristics: June is the sweetest girl! She loves to be petted and will begin purring instantly. She is a small, persistently cuddly lap cat who will soak up affection from everyone willing her to shower her with pets and cuddles. She likes to be close enough to touch, lean against or drape her paw against her human’s arm, adorably pulling her human’s hand towards her when she is craving attention. She loves to snuggle up at bedtime, too! June can also relax on her own, just being content in her cozy home.
