My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Pink Sherbert is a sweet and curious Schnauzer & Yorkie mix who is settling into her foster home beautifully. She’s fully house-trained, going outside twice a day with no accidents indoors. While she’s not particularly playful with other dogs, she enjoys being around them and gets along well with dogs of all sizes. She’s also made great progress with leash walking, now walking straight and in sync with the group, with her favorite activity being sniffing around on walks.

After being used for breeding, Pink Sherbert is beginning to explore her playful side and has a healthy appetite. Though she’s happy to be left alone when needed, she loves being around her humans and canine friends, making her a wonderful, calm companion. Pink Sherbert is quietly blossoming into a loving, gentle dog who would be a great addition to a peaceful home

ALL adoptions require a completed application and final contract. The application can be found at  WaldosRescue.org  and once you are approved to adopt you will be put in touch with the foster to see if it’s a good match. We are a RESCUE not a shelter. We conduct veterinary and personal reference checks during the application approval process. We are unable to contact every applicant for every dog.  We will select the best applicant for each dog, based on the dogs needs.

Waldos Rescue Pen is a 501c3 whose primary focus is rescuing dogs from the euthanasia list from high kill shelters throughout the United States
